Voice Course

“I have been crucially helped by voice teachers.” – Sir Ian McKellen

Our Voice Course with Rob Meldrum will improve your vocal clarity, diversity and power. By training the voice, the actor is able to access emotions, use their breath fluidly, and deliver a stronger and more confident performance.

This voice course aims to introduce voice in performance – where to start to find your own voice, extending its range and how best to avoid habits that limit your vocal inventory.

Over this six week voice course, Rob will take students through each two-hour session strengthening the mind’s link to breath, body and vocal health in a fun and relaxed setting. Rather than layering on artifice and theory, Rob seeks to strip away obstacles to the actor’s voice, making it as short a trip as possible to vocal freedom.

This voice course complements any student who is currently training in Brave Studios 8 week Beginners acting course and the 8 week Actors Workshop Course. We encourage all students to do voice class as it is a vital tool to enhance your work and take it to the next level.
