All Acting courses at our Acting School Melbourne are designed by Brave Studios’ owners Elle Mandalis and Damien Fotiou in conjunction with each of our teachers. Both Elle and Damien are professional actors with over 40 years of experience between them. We strongly believe that by providing a safe and nurturing environment, offering industry professionals as our teachers and guaranteeing only honest feedback, you will be able to explore the craft of acting with freedom and tenacity. As one of the best acting schools in Melbourne providing professional acting courses, we are determined to produce highly skilled actors and presenters who are well prepared for the demands of the entertainment industry.

Brave Studios is proud to be an Acting school in Melbourne that is run for actors, by industry professionals. All our staff and teachers  are highly qualified who have worked with some of Australias elite artists in major Australian productions, and teachers who have taught and studied at major acting schools both in Australia wide and internationally. Each individual teacher shares their unique experiences, skills and passion for their art that makes Brave Studios acting classes stand out against other acting schools through Melbourne and Australia.

We have a range of acting courses and workshops available from the Beginner Actor through to the Professional Actor wanting to further develop, challenge and nurture their skills. We keep the size of our acting classes small, so that each student can reach their full potential. Brave Studios’ acting courses are run over 3 levels – Beginner, Actors Workshop and Advanced/Professional. Not sure where you fit? Small Class Sizes ~ Our Acting School caps its class sizes to a max of 12-16 students. We believe that actors in training should be practising in front of the teacher each and every week in order to see significant progress. It also allows the teacher to give our students more specific, individual attention and feedback.

Individual focus and support We take pride in individually streaming all our Acting courses to make sure all students are being challenged and supported at the appropriate level. We are happy to be a sounding board for students who wish to progress, offering advice on their work and the industry at large.

Whilst some other training facilities might work on false promises offering Acting representation, trips to Hollywood, your name in lights and starring roles with Leonardo DiCaprio, we certainly don’t. We put honesty at the forefront of everything we do. We make sure our students are given truthful feedback at all times, from beginners to professional actors. This is a very difficult industry to break into and we make that very clear from the start of your journey with us. Of course, we do have successful students and clients working in  Australia and overseas, but we won’t tell you what you want to hear simply because you want to hear it. We work hard so that if you work hard, we can guide you as best we can to where you fit in the industry. By creating a safe environment to train in, our students feel free to take risks and make bold choices in their Acting courses. We only learn by embracing our failures and learning from them!
