This Audition workshop with The McLeod is an incredible opportunity to workshop your auditioning skills and receive direct feedback from one of Australia’s top Casting Directors Thea McLeod!

Thea McLeod is currently the casting director for ‘Neighbours’ located right here in Melbourne. This audition workshop with Thea McLeod will cover auditioning skills and techniques to help you improve your auditioning process. You will learn how to approach a script and receive invaluable insights from a casting director’s perspective.

Many actors leave from an audition never knowing why they may not have won the role. This is a great way for you to receive feedback from casting director Thea McLeod to help you move towards the right direction and improve your approach to auditions.

Many of Brave Studios students have stated this auditioning course stands out from others with Thea and other Casting Directors, as they have ample one-on-one time with Thea. Unlike many other schools offering much shorter workshops with Thea, our class sizes are kept to a maximum of 16 students so you may receive the most out of this Auditioning Workshop.

We also ensure that this workshop is of a very high standard, so you will have great scene partners to read opposite in your mock auditions.

Strong command of the English Language

Students will be dealing with difficult concepts that require an advanced level of English language comprehension. Therefore, it is imperative that all students have a strong command of English. Please feel free to discuss this with one of our staff at Brave Studios should you need clarification.

Applications & Pre-requisites

Enrolment to this course is by Application Only. Applicants must have auditioning experience and/or acting training of Intermediate level and above.

Interested Applicants must upload their CV, Headshot and Showreel (if available) to be assessed by both the School Directors.

Strong command of the English Language

Students will be dealing with difficult concepts that require an advanced level of English language comprehension. Therefore, it is imperative that all students have a strong command of English as there will be constant reading and learning of text. Please feel free to discuss this with one of our staff at Brave Studios should you need clarification.

  • Payment Options

    *We do not take payment through the website. Payment can either be made over the phone via credit card, or via direct deposit. The account details will be sent to you in an invoice once you enrol.

  • CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

    BALANCE: Payment must must be paid 2 weeks prior to the course start date.  
    REFUND POLICY: Notification of cancellation must be given at least 14 days prior to class commencement for course fees or deposit to be refunded. If you have enrolled but do not notify us of cancellation 14 days prior to the commencement of the course, your deposit and/or any fees paid will be retained by Brave Studios. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after course commencement or during the run of the course. Brave Studios reserves the right to cancel any class in which case fees will be refunded in full.
    Should you withdraw from the course after the commencement date, any fees paid will be retained, no refund will be applied and you are obliged to pay the balance of all fees owing. 
    TRANSFER POLICY: If a student has paid a deposit and wishes to transfer into another course as opposed to receiving a refund, the transfer should take place within 12 months of the initial course start date, given that at least 14 days notice has been received. It is the students responsibility to inform us of their availability for new course dates. The student will also be subject to any course fee increases made during that time.

    VIDEO POLICY: All class footage filmed and photographed at Brave Studios remains the property of Brave Studios and must not be used for any purpose unless permission is sought and granted by Brave Studios Directors.
