Brave Studios has been running kids drama and acting programs for the last 20 years. Over this time it has become very clear what the kids are wanting in a drama school holiday program. By listening to what the kids want, Brave Studios have structured a program to fully engage aspiring young actors and get their creative minds flowing. This course is for any young person either wanting to give acting a try, love drama, need a little help socially and boost their confidence.

We believe drama is the key to happy, confident and mindful kids. The results speak for themselves as we see thousands of kids leave our drama classes and school holiday programs more confident and sure of who they are. Through Drama, kids subconciously learn many of life’s important and crucial skills including empathy, collaboration, confidence and self belief. Let’s not forget the natural born entertainers in the world. Kids wanting to learn more about acting and drama will be challenged accordingly making sure the drama within them is encouraged and applauded allowing them to shine! Students will gain self-confidence and an understanding of the ‘world of drama’ leaving inspired with the passion to perform and above all, be themselves!

Brenna Dixon our amazing course director, is a very passionate and exciting teacher. Brenna comes from an Improvisation background performing regularly with Impro Melbourne and is Artistic Director of Melbourne’s Acclaimed Improvised Shakespeare group, Soothplayers. She is exceptional with the students, bringing fun, creativity, student autonomy and energy to all that she teaches.

Tom Russell most recently spent 2 years performing in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Melbourne. Graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in 2019 (NIDA), Tom has gained valuable performing skills. He specifically has a love for live theatre, improvisation, music theatre and music production. Tom believes that the key to success in the classroom is in creating a positive and energetic environment where students feel confident to be themselves.

    *We do not take payment through the website. Payment can either be made over the phone via credit card, or via direct deposit. The account details will be sent to you in an invoice once you enrol.

    *Full Payment is required once you have been confirmed. Please note we DO NOT take any deposit payments for our courses at Brave Studios.
    *STUDENT LOYALTY DISCOUNT - If you have completed 3 or more 8 week courses with Brave Studios you may be eligible for an ongoing 10% discount. This only applies to Beginner and Actors Workshop 8 week courses commenced from 2013 onwards.

  • REFUND POLICY

    COURSE PAYMENTS: Courses must be paid in full once your application has been confirmed.

    REFUND POLICY:
    Notification of cancellation must be given at least 14 days prior to course commencement for course fees to be refunded. If you do not notify us of cancellation 14 days prior to the commencement of the course your fees paid will be retained by Brave Studios.
    No refunds will be given for cancellations made after course commencement. If you miss 3X consecutive classes from weeks 1-3, you are unable to attend the remainder of the course or receive a transfer/refund.
    Payments for the 3-hour introductory workshop and 1-day auditioning workshops are non-refundable.
    Brave Studios reserves the right to cancel any class, in which case fees will be refunded in full.
    12 MONTH PROGRAMS- All payments must be made on the agreed date specified on the Invoice. Should you withdraw from the course after the commencement date, any fees paid will be retained, no refund will be applied and you are obliged to pay the balance of all fees owing.
    TRANSFER POLICY:
    Notification of transfer must be given at least 14 days prior to the course commencement. All course transfers have an expiry of 12 months of the initial course start date, given that at least 14 days notice has been received. It is the student's responsibility to inform us of their availability for new course dates. The student will also be subject to any course fee increases made during that time. The 3-hour introductory workshop and 1 day auditioning workshops are non-transferable.  
    VIDEO POLICY:
    All class footage filmed at Brave Studios remains the property of Brave Studios and must not be used for any purpose unless permission is sought and granted by Brave Studios Directors.
